Love, Life and Happiness

You know, the traffic jams here weren't so bad this July 1st. I remember being here with my better half listening to the fireworks. They couldn't have been too far away but we coudn't see them. Darn trees!

Now that I think about it, we weren't in such a great mood that day. We had just gotten home from his moms when the fireworks were going off. We were exhausted and awfully grumpy with each other. But looking back it was beatiful being here, together, listening to the fireworks. Holding each other.

Being together throughout the holidays this year has made me realize how much I love living on my own with him. It's lovely having someone to share the beatiful moments, the sad moments, and the terrible moods with. I think the one thing that could keep a family together is the holidays. If people would let their feelings and hardships go to the wayside over the holiday season and just be with each other it could change everything bad in someone's life.

It's the little things in life that make life worth living. It’s those little moments that really make a difference for everyone. When he/she looks at you and you can see the love in their eyes. When you have your special time together and you never want it to end. When you don't want to fall asleep at night because your reality is so much better than your dreams.

It is beatiful when you are with someone who supports your ideas and will do anything to make things easier for you. Of course, there will be times when you don’t think it’s going to work and you just want to get away…. From him and your life. This isn’t the end of it though, you just need to take a step back and look at what you have. Sometimes your life can look pretty low but just take a break and maybe you will see how wonderful you have it.

I couldn’t imagine living without him, having to come home every night to an empty apartment. Not being able to see his smile, it would tear me apart.
